Our guest speaker is Kathy Nickerson and here’s what she has to say about the meeting: What holds you back as a writer? Is it time, permission, belief in your calling, support from others, or something that feels like writer’s block? Lots of things get in the way of us fulfilling our dreams as writers. We will tackle a few of those in our October meeting. (By tackle, I mean football. We will wrestle those blockers to the ground!) I hope you’ll join me for fun, conversation, and a brief writing exercise.
Kathy Nickerson is an author, speaker, and eternal optimist. Currently, she writes from the Nebraska home she shares with her husband of more than fifty years. They count among their blessings four children, seventeen grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren, so far.
She is the author of seven novels, including the award-winning Thirty Days to Glory, which is the first in the Glory Circle Sisters series. She has also written short stories, flash fiction, magazine articles, devotionals, greeting cards, newsletters, and web content.
Her favorite accessory is a microphone.
